  2. By the way, FYI, I indeed was automatically added to the roster of both classes I'd been on the waiting list for, without having to submit the instructors' signatures to admission. See you on Wednesday.

  4. I didn't get a chance to say last night, but the food was AWESOME! I am a vegetarian and I thought the chili was fantastic. My compliments to the chef!

  6. Is anyone able to give me a ride home M&W nights, I live very close by (Maple Leaf), and there will be some gas money in it for you, thanks! Kristina

  7. Kristina, I'd be happy to give you a ride on those nights. I live in Roosevelt and drive through Maple Leaf on my way home, so it shouldn't be too far out of my way.

  8. I am hoping to find a walk to the car buddy. I felt a bit uncomfortable leaving @ 9:30. The campus is a bit more vacant than I expected; any one else feeling the need to take advantage of the safety in numbers thing?

  15. Hi everyone,
I'm in Oregon for a couple of days, but I wanted to post a comment to ask you to read the LaRay Barna essay that Carol posted on the blog under the Handouts section before you do your cultural interview assignment. So sorry that I didn't tell you this in class.

  16. Hello I had a question!!!
On the class calendar under April 7th, it lists the cultural interview as 'due April 14th'.. But then says it is due again on the 19th.
Is that just a typo or is part of it due on the 14th?
    Thanks!

  17. HI Tanya,
It is due on the 19th. The date on the calendar needs to be changed. Carol and I moved the interview to be due on the 19th after we realized that your first seminar is due on the 14th. We didn't want you to have two assignments due on the same night.
    Sorry for the confusion. Jane
